We have an incredible worship team that begins service with praise and worship. Next, you will hear a life changing sermon from the Word of God that will equip you, challenge you and inspire you.
We are a multicultural church of all ages, and it is our goal to be here for you every step of the way. We pray you feel the love of God like never before!
Is there a dress code?
Please, just come as you are. We are an imperfect people serving a perfect God. We believe as you seek God, he will shape and mold you into the man or woman he has called you to be.
What if I have small children?
Awesome, even better! We have an incredible children’s church with a secure “check-in/check-out” system. Our HOP Kids’ department takes care of your little ones and teaches them the Word of God. We serve your children from infants to 6th grade.
Our infants to four-years old will be taken care of in fun, age appropriate environments, as well as, receiving a Bible lesson and activity. Kindergartners through 6th graders will join the church service during worship and then head back to their classroom for their Bible lesson and activity.
Please arrive at least fifteen minutes before church starts so we can obtain your child’s information, your contact information, and greet your little ones, while showing you around.
With our wonderful staff, your children will surely connect to Jesus and each other.
New orleans Community Groups
At HOP Church, we believe that we are “better together.” When we do life with one another, our lives are more fulfilled. Community groups (C-groups), meet weekly in homes, at our jobs, or at a convenient location led by House of Prayer members. C-Groups meet in a three-semester format. Fall and Spring groups meet for thirteen weeks while Summer groups meet for six weeks. The Word of God is shared in a simple and practical way in these meetings. C-Groups are designed as an off campus, more personal setting where people can grow in their relationships with Jesus and other people. We believe life change happens in the context of relationships. We are not a church with Community Groups, we are a church of Community Groups.
